Limang hakbang mula pagbukas hanggang pagkanta.

Ilagay ang nickname moIto ang makikita ng lahat sa room. Pwede ka ring maglagay ng litrato sa 👤 Profile. Isang palit lang ng nickname kada 24 oras, at hindi pwede habang nasa pila o nasa stage.
Gumawa o sumali sa roomPindutin ang ➕ Create Room (pwedeng lagyan ng pangalan at password, o iwan na blangko para public). Kung may code ka na, pindutin ang 🔑 Join with Code. Pwede ring 📋 Browse Rooms para makita ang mga bukas.
PumilaPindutin ang ✋ Raise Hand. Lalabas ang pangalan mo sa listahan bilang Queue #1, #2, at iba pa.
Mag-soundcheck habang naghihintayPindutin ang 🎙️ Test sa mixer. Bukas ang mic mo para ma-adjust ang tunog, pero walang naririnig ang iba.
Kumanta!Kapag ikaw na ang una sa pila, pindutin ang 🔓🎤 para i-lock ang mic at kumanta. May karaoke music sa computer mo? Pindutin ang 🎵 sa tabi ng pangalan mo, piliin ang screen o tab, at i-check ang Share audio. Isang beses lang ito, mananatiling ON. Pindutin ang 🔓 Finish pagkatapos para sa susunod.

📊 Work Mode · 16 kHzPara sa talumpati, aralin, at meeting. Nakikita ang Stage, Presentation, at Chat. Mas mababa ang kalidad ng audio (16 kHz, tipid sa data) at walang echo.

Sino ang puwedeng lumipatAng host lang. Sabay-sabay na lilipat ang lahat ng nasa room. Naka-lock ang tab para sa iba, at ang sumali nang huli ay susunod sa mode ng room.

Depende sa ginagawa mo, may apat na papel.

ListenerNakikinig lang, kasama ang mga pumasok sa listen link. Pwede pa ring mag-chat at mag-cheer.

Host (👑 Admin)Gumawa ng room, o nagbukas ng host link ng permanent room. Siya ang nagko-control ng pila, ng stage, at ng presentation, at siya lang ang puwedeng lumipat ng Play at Work Mode. Puwede ring i-ON ng pinagkakatiwalaan ang 👑 Admin gamit ang PIN.

✋ Raise HandPumila para kumanta. Magiging ✋ Lower Hand ito kung gusto mong umalis sa pila. Naka-gray ito habang ikaw ang kumakanta, at gumagana ulit pagka-Finish.

🎤 Currently PerformingNakasulat ito sa ilalim ng pangalan ng kumakanta kapag live na ang mic niya. Ang ⏳ Naghahanda... ay habang inaayos pa ang mic, at mawawala ito pagka-live.

🗣️ TalkPindutin at i-hold para magsalita. Para sa mga nasa pila, at gumagana lang habang walang nakasalang sa stage.

🔓🎤 / 🔒🎤Kapag ikaw na ang una sa pila, pindutin ang 🔓🎤 para i-lock ang mic at kumanta. Nagiging 🔒🎤 ito habang nasa stage.

🔓 Finish / End StageTapusin ang kanta mo. Ang host ay may End Stage para tapusin ang kanta ng iba.

🎤 (host / admin)Ipasa ang stage sa isang tao. Lalabas sa kanya ang You are up to sing! at pipindutin niya ang Accept and turn mic ON para marinig siya. Ang ⛔ ay para tapusin ang kanta ng iba.

👑 Make hostSa ordinaryong room (hindi permanent), pwedeng ipasa ng host ang pagiging host gamit ang 👑 sa tabi ng pangalan ng iba. Mawawala sa kanya ang host at admin powers.

Pagpili ng kanta at lyrics

Para sa karaoke video at sabay-sabay na lyrics. Nasa Play Mode ang mga ito.

🔎 Search Song TitleMaghanap ng karaoke video, pindutin ang 🔎, at pumili. Magbubukas ito sa player sa device mo. Audio lang ang naipapadala sa iba, hindi ang video. Para marinig nila ang karaoke track kasama ang boses mo, gamitin ang 🎵 ON / OFF sa ibaba.

🎵 ON / OFF (Share Music)Para ma-share ang tunog ng computer mo (ang karaoke music). Lumalabas ito sa pangalan mo kapag nasa pila ka na o kumakanta. Pindutin ang 🎵 OFF, piliin ang Entire Screen (o ang Chrome Tab ng video), at i-check ang Share system audio o Share tab audio. Kapag 🎵 ON na, isang beses lang ito: mananatili itong ON sa susunod mong mga kanta, kaya hindi mo na uulitin. Pindutin ang 🎵 ON (o ang Stop sharing ng browser) para i-OFF. Kapag nag-reload ka ng page, i-ON ulit nang isang beses.

📋 My Song ListPindutin ang ＋ List sa isang resulta para idagdag sa listahan mo. Sa 📋 My Song List, pindutin ang pamagat para i-play (aalis ito sa listahan pagka-play), o ang ✕ para alisin. Naka-save ito sa device mo.

▶ Play / ✕I-play o i-pause ang video. Ang ✕ ay para isara ito.

📝 LyricsPara sa mga video o backing track na walang lyrics. Lahat ay puwedeng mag-search: i-type ang title at artist, pwedeng mauna ang alinman, halimbawa love me tender elvis presley o elvis presley love me tender. Kapag ang kumakanta o ang naka-Admin ON ang pumili, sabay na makikita ng lahat ang lyrics, pati ng mga nakikinig sa share link. Kapag ibang tao ang pumili (audience o guest), sila lang ang makakakita (may tatak na 👤). Pindutin ang ✕ Clear para burahin ito. Kapag ang kumakanta o naka-Admin ON ang pumili ng video, kusa ring hahanapin ng page ang lyrics nito at ilalabas kung sigurado ang tugma. Pindutin ang Hide ▲ o Show ▼ para itago o ipakita ang card.

📑 PresentationPara magpakita ng PDF slides, YouTube video, o .mp4 video sa buong room. Nasa Work Mode ito. Tingnan ang seksyon ng Presentation.

💰 Tip Jar para sa mga performer

Para sa mga buskers at singer na gustong tumanggap ng tip mula sa mga nakikinig. Libre at opsyonal ito.

Buksan ang Tip JarPindutin ang 👤 Profile sa itaas, tapos ang 💰 Tip Jar (optional).
Ilagay ang account moI-type ang Account name (kung paano ito nakasulat sa app mo) at kahit isang numero: GCash, Maya, o GoTyme (10 hanggang 16 na digit). Pindutin ang Save Tip Jar.
KumantaKapag ikaw na ang nasa stage, lalabas ang 💰 sa tabi ng pangalan mo sa screen ng mga nakikinig. Sa listen link naman, may 💰 Tip na button. Hindi mo ito makikita sa sarili mong screen.
Magti-tip ang audiencePipindutin nila ang 💰, makikita ang account mo, ico-Copy ang numero, at ipapadala sa GCash, Maya, o GoTyme.

Diretso sa account mo ang tip. Hindi hinahawakan ng Kantahan Live ang pera, at walang notification kapag may nag-tip, kaya tingnan ang app mo. Nakikita ng mga nasa room ang detalye ng Tip Jar mo habang naka-save ito, kaya pindutin ang Clear kapag ayaw mo na. Paalala sa magti-tip: i-check muna ang account name sa app bago magpadala.

🔴 Mag-record at ibahagi ang kanta mo

Para sa singer na nasa stage. Ikaw lang ang nakakarinig hangga't hindi mo ito ibinabahagi. Ang mga recording card ay nasa Play Mode.

Pindutin ang 🔴Lalabas ito sa tabi ng pangalan mo kapag live na ang mic mo. Makikita ng lahat ang 🔴 REC habang nagre-record ka. Hanggang 5 minuto kada take.
I-ON ang 🎵 kung may musicNare-record ang mic, echo, at ang tunog na ishe-share mo gamit ang 🎵 Share Music (sa computer lang). Kung hindi naka-ON ang 🎵, boses mo lang ang makukuha.
Pindutin ulit para i-stopMase-save ito sa 🔴 My Recordings. Tinatago ng browser ang hanggang 5 take, at nawawala ang mga ito kapag nag-reload ka o umalis sa room.
I-download o ibahagiPindutin ang ⬇ Download para itago. Kung gusto mong marinig ng room, i-check ang pahintulot at pindutin ang 📤 Share to room. Lalabas ito sa 🎧 Shared Recordings at kusang mabubura pagkalipas ng 24 oras. Hanggang 6 MB.

Bawal mag-record sa Work Mode. Ang may-ari ng recording at ang host lang ang pwedeng magbura ng ibinahaging take.

Para sa mga talumpati, aralin, at palabas na sabay-sabay na pinapanood ng lahat.

Lumipat sa Work ModeAng host ang pipindot ng 📊 Work Mode sa itaas. Lilipat ang lahat ng nasa room, at lalabas ang upload at share tools sa host o naka-👑 Admin ON. Mas mababa ang kalidad ng audio (tipid sa data) at walang echo.
Mag-upload ng PDFAng host o ang naka-👑 Admin ON ang nag-a-upload. Pindutin ang 📤 Upload PDF at pumili ng file. Hanggang 10 MB kapag walang password, at hanggang 20 MB kapag nilagay ang upload password sa 🔑 Password.
Piliin kung iiwan sa libraryI-check ang Iwan sa library kung gusto mong magamit ulit ng iba nang hindi nag-a-upload muli. Kung hindi, kusang mabubura ito sa loob ng 24 oras.
Ipakita sa lahatPagka-upload, sabay-sabay na bubukas ang PDF sa bawat kasama sa room. Kung ayaw mong mag-upload, pindutin ang 📚 Library at piliin ang Open sa naiwang file.
Magpalit ng pageGamitin ang ‹ at ›, o ang arrow keys sa keyboard. Ang page ng presenter ang sinusundan ng lahat. Pwede ring mag-flip ang audience sa sarili nilang device; pindutin ang ↩ p.X para bumalik sa page ng host.

🔴 PointerPindutin para lumabas ang pulang tuldok na ituturo sa audience. Sa computer, sumusunod ito sa mouse. Sa phone, i-drag ang tuldok.

⛶ Full screenPara sa lahat, hindi lang sa presenter. Pindutin ang ✕ o ang Esc para lumabas.

📚 LibraryListahan ng mga PDF na iniwan. Ang 🗑 ay para magbura: ang nag-upload ay pwedeng magbura ng sarili niyang file, at ang may upload password ay pwedeng magbura ng kahit alin.

🎬 Share (YouTube o .mp4)Idikit ang YouTube link, o direct na https link ng video na nagtatapos sa .mp4 o .webm, at pindutin ang Share. Lalabas ang video sa lahat, pero hindi pa ito magpe-play. Pindutin ang ▶ Watch now (lahat) kapag handa na ang lahat para sabay-sabay magsimula.

⏸ Pause lahatIhinto ang video ng buong room. Ang bawat viewer ay may sarili ring 🔊 para sa mute at pwedeng mag-pause o mag-seek sa device niya.

📊 Presenter

Ang host at ang naka-Admin ON ang may hawak ng presentation. Para magpasa ng kontrol sa iba, pindutin ang 📊 sa tabi ng pangalan niya sa listahan (lalabas ito kapag may nakasalang na PDF o video). Siya na ang magpapalit ng page, gagamit ng pointer, at magpapatakbo ng video. Pindutin ulit ang 📊 para bawiin, o awtomatiko itong babalik sa host kapag isinara ang presentation.

Kapag may nakasalang na PDF o video, ang ✕ Close ay para sa host, admin, at presenter. Isa lang ang makikita sa Presentation card sa isang pagkakataon: kapag nag-share ka ng video, mapapalitan ang PDF, at kabaliktaran. Hindi ka nito ibabalik sa Play Mode.

Bukas na ito agad sa Play Mode (pindutin ang Hide ▲ para itago). Ito ang mga panimulang setting, kaya ayos na ang tunog kahit hindi mo galawin.

🔊 MuteI-mute ang stage sa device mo lang. Hindi ito nakakaapekto sa iba.

🎙️ Test (Soundcheck)Subukan ang mic at ang tunog mo, at hindi ito naririnig ng iba.

🎧 Echo (Monitor)Ang naririnig mo sa headphones ay echo lang, hindi ang buong boses. Kung may sarili kang mic mixer, ito ang pinakamalinis na setting.

↺ ResetIbalik sa default ang lahat ng slider.

Gumamit ng headphones kung kumakanta ka. Kapag speaker ang gamit, babalik sa mic ang tunog at magkakaroon ng ugong o echo.

Chat at cheers

Para sa mga nanonood at nakikinig.

Sa Live Chat & Cheers, mag-type ng mensahe at pindutin ang Send. Pindutin ang 👏 🎤 🔥 ❤️ 🍻 😲 🎉 para magpadala ng reaksyon. Makikita ito ng lahat, at may confetti na lalabas sa screen ng bawat nasa room.

Permanent private room

Para sa barkada o grupo na gustong may sariling room na hindi nawawala. Ang owner lang ang nagagawa nito.

Buksan ang Owner panelPindutin ang ⚙️ Owner panel sa lobby, ilagay ang owner key, at pindutin ang ➕ Create permanent room.
Ibigay ang tamang linkAng 🔗 Invite link ay para sa lahat ng miyembro. Ang 👑 Host link ay para lang sa host at sa 2 hanggang 3 pinagkakatiwalaang co-host.
Magbukas ng linkWalang password na itatype ang miyembro. Sa host link, host agad siya sa kahit anong device.

Nawawala ang host link o napunta sa maling tao? Pindutin ang ↻ sa tabi ng room para gumawa ng bago. Mawawalan ng bisa ang luma. Sa permanent room, ang host link ang batayan ng pagiging host, hindi kung sino ang unang pumasok.

Kung may problema

Walang tunog ang mic ko

Kapag tinanong ng browser kung papayagan ang microphone, pindutin ang Allow. Kung na-block mo na dati, pindutin ang padlock sa tabi ng address bar at payagan ang Microphone, tapos i-refresh ang page.

Matagal ang "Connecting..."

I-refresh ang page: pindutin ang 🎤 Kantahan Live! sa itaas ng page (magtatanong muna ito bago mag-reload), o Ctrl+F5 sa computer. Kung hindi pa rin, i-check ang internet mo at subukan ulit pagkalipas ng ilang segundo.

Hindi ako makapasok sa room

Posibleng mali ang code o password, o puno na ang room (may limitasyon sa bilang ng tao kada room). Hingin sa host ang tamang code o invite link.

Hindi marinig ang karaoke music ng singer

Dapat naka-🎵 ON ang singer. Kung hindi, pindutin niya ang 🎵 OFF, piliin ang Entire Screen (o ang tab ng video), at i-check ang Share system audio o Share tab audio. Kadalasan sa computer lang available ang 🎵, at naipapadala lang ang tunog kapag siya ang nasa stage.

Naka-gray ang Raise Hand

Naka-gray ito habang ikaw ang kumakanta. Pindutin muna ang 🔓 Finish, at pwede ka nang pumila ulit.

Hindi ako host ng permanent room namin

Host ka lang kung binuksan mo ang 👑 Host link, hindi ang ordinaryong invite link. Hingin ito sa owner ng room.

Hindi ko mapalitan ang nickname

Hindi ito pinapayagan habang nasa pila o nasa stage, at isang beses lang kada 24 oras. Lumabas muna sa pila, palitan, at pumila ulit. Ang litrato naman sa 👤 Profile ay pwedeng palitan kahit kailan.

Walang tunog sa listen link

Kailangang pindutin muna ang ▶ Tap to listen live. Hindi nagpapatugtog ng tunog ang browser hangga't hindi ka nagta-tap.

Mabigat ba ito sa mobile data?

Audio lang ang natatanggap mo, hindi video, kaya karaniwang mas magaan ito sa data kaysa panonood ng YouTube, TikTok, at Reels. Mas mainam pa rin ang Wi-Fi para sa mas matagal na kantahan. Isara ang tab o pindutin ang 🏃 Leave room kapag tapos ka na, dahil hindi nakakatipid ang pag-mute. Kung ikaw ang kumakanta, ang karaoke video na pinapanood mo ang pinakamalaking gumagamit ng data, kaya sa gear icon ng player, piliin ang 240p o 360p basta mababasa pa ang lyrics.

Hindi ma-upload ang PDF

Kung hindi mo makita ang upload, lumipat muna sa 📊 Work Mode (host o naka-Admin ON lang ang may upload, at host lang ang puwedeng lumipat). Tiyaking PDF talaga ang file at hindi lalampas sa 10 MB (20 MB kung may upload password). Kapag walang password, may limit din na 6 na upload kada oras. Kung puno na ang library (20 PDF), burahin muna ang ilang file.

Hindi nagpe-play ang shared video

Hindi pa magsisimula ang video hangga't hindi pinipindot ng presenter ang ▶ Watch now. Kung may lumabas na ▶ Tap to watch sa device mo, i-tap ito dahil hinaharang minsan ng browser ang autoplay. May mga video ring bawal i-embed ng may-ari, kaya subukan ang ibang link.

Bakit hindi ko mapalitan ang page?

Ang host, ang naka-Admin ON, at ang itinalagang presenter lang ang may kontrol sa page, pointer, at video. Hilingin sa host na pindutin ang 📊 sa tabi ng pangalan mo.

Bakit hindi ko makita ang 💰 ko?

Hindi mo ito nakikita sa sarili mong screen. Lalabas ito sa mga nakikinig kapag naka-save ang Tip Jar mo at ikaw ang nasa stage. Kailangan ng account name at kahit isang numero na 10 hanggang 16 na digit. Subukang buksan ang listen link sa ibang device para makita.

Walang 🔴 na record button

Lalabas lang ito kapag live na ang mic mo at sinusuportahan ng browser ang recording. Bawal din ito sa Work Mode. Gumamit ng bagong bersyon ng Chrome o Safari.

Bakit ako nilabas sa room o natapos ang stage ko?

Para makatipid ang lahat sa data: kapag 30 minutong walang galaw at walang audio, may lalabas na babala at lalabas ka pagkalipas ng 60 segundo, maliban kung pipindutin mo ang Manatili. Kung ikaw ang nasa stage at 10 minutong walang boses at tugtog at walang galaw, awtomatikong matatapos ang stage mo.

Nasaan ang Song & Video, Mixer, o Presentation?

Magkahiwalay ang mga ito. Ang Song & Video, Lyrics, Mixer, at Recordings ay nasa 🎤 Play Mode. Ang Presentation ay nasa 📊 Work Mode. Ang host lang ang puwedeng lumipat, kaya hilingin sa kanya kung nasa maling tab ang room.

Anong browser ang pinakamaayos?

Chrome o Safari sa phone at computer. Gamitin ang bagong bersyon at iwasan ang in-app browser ng ibang apps kung may problema sa mic.

Five steps from opening the page to singing.

Enter your nicknameEveryone in the room will see it. You can also add a photo in 👤 Profile. You can change your nickname once every 24 hours, and not while you are in the queue or on stage.
Create or join a roomTap ➕ Create Room (you can add a name and a password, or leave it blank to make it public). If you already have a code, tap 🔑 Join with Code. You can also tap 📋 Browse Rooms to see open rooms.
Join the queueTap ✋ Raise Hand. Your name will show in the list as Queue #1, #2, and so on.
Do a soundcheck while you waitTap 🎙️ Test in the mixer. Your mic is on so you can adjust your sound, but nobody else can hear you.
Sing!When you are first in the queue, tap 🔓🎤 to lock the mic and sing. Have karaoke music on your computer? Tap 🎵 next to your name, choose the screen or tab, and check Share audio. You only do this once, it stays ON. Tap 🔓 Finish when you are done so the next person can go.

Play Mode and Work Mode

Two tabs at the top of the page. Only one is visible at a time.

🎤 Play Mode · 48 kHzFor singing. Shows the Stage, Song & Video, Lyrics, DSP Mixer, Recordings, and Chat. Audio is full 48 kHz with echo.

📊 Work Mode · 16 kHzFor talks, lessons, and meetings. Shows the Stage, Presentation, and Chat. Audio quality is lower (16 kHz, saves data) and there is no echo.

Who can switchOnly the host. Everyone in the room switches together. The tab is locked for everyone else, and people who join late follow the room's mode.

Your chosen tab stays. It does not go back to Play Mode when the presentation is closed. Tap 🎤 Play Mode to return to singing.

Who are you in the room?

There are four roles, depending on what you are doing.

SingerThe person on stage. Everyone hears only them for now.

In the queueHand is raised. You can do a soundcheck and use 🗣️ Talk while nobody is singing.

ListenerOnly listening, including people who came in through a listen link. You can still chat and cheer.

Host (👑 Admin)Created the room, or opened the host link of a permanent room. The host controls the queue, the stage, and the presentation, and is the only one who can switch between Play and Work Mode. A trusted person can also turn 👑 Admin ON with the PIN.

Stage and queue

The buttons at the top of the page.

✋ Raise HandJoin the queue to sing. It changes to ✋ Lower Hand if you want to leave the queue. It is grayed out while you are singing, and works again after Finish.

🎤 Currently PerformingShown under the singer's name once their mic is live. ⏳ Naghahanda... (getting ready) shows while the mic is being set up, and goes away once they are live.

🗣️ TalkPress and hold to speak. It is for people in the queue, and only works when nobody is on stage.

🔓🎤 / 🔒🎤When you are first in the queue, tap 🔓🎤 to lock the mic and sing. It becomes 🔒🎤 while you are on stage.

🔓 Finish / End StageEnd your song. The host also has End Stage to end someone else's song.

00:00Timer for the current singer.

🎤 (host / admin)Hand the stage to someone. They see You are up to sing! and tap Accept and turn mic ON so everyone can hear them. ⛔ ends someone else's song.

👑 Make hostIn an ordinary room (not permanent), the host can pass the host role to someone else with the 👑 next to their name. You lose your host and admin powers.

🎧 3The singer sees how many people are listening through the listen link.

Choosing a song and lyrics

For the karaoke video and lyrics that everyone sees together. These are in Play Mode.

🔎 Search Song TitleLook for a karaoke video, tap 🔎, and pick one. It opens in the player on your device. Only audio is sent to others, not the video. For them to hear the karaoke track with your voice, use 🎵 ON / OFF below.

🎵 ON / OFF (Share Music)Shares your computer's sound (the karaoke music). It shows next to your name once you are in the queue or singing. Tap 🎵 OFF, choose Entire Screen (or the Chrome Tab with the video), and check Share system audio or Share tab audio. Once it says 🎵 ON, you only do this once: it stays ON for your next songs, so you don't repeat it. Tap 🎵 ON (or the browser's Stop sharing) to turn it OFF. If you reload the page, turn it ON once again.

📋 My Song ListTap ＋ List on a result to add it to your list. In 📋 My Song List, tap the title to play it (it leaves the list once played), or ✕ to remove it. It is saved on your device.

▶ Play / ✕Play or pause the video. ✕ closes it.

📝 LyricsFor videos or backing tracks that have no lyrics. Anyone can search: type the title and artist, in either order, for example love me tender elvis presley or elvis presley love me tender. When the singer or someone with Admin ON picks the lyrics, everyone sees them at the same time, including people on the share link. When someone else picks (audience or guest), only they can see it (marked with 👤). Tap ✕ Clear to remove it. When the singer or someone with Admin ON picks a video, the page also looks up its lyrics on its own and shows them if the match is certain. Tap Hide ▲ or Show ▼ to collapse or expand the card.

💰 Tip Jar for performers

For buskers and singers who want to receive tips from listeners. It is free and optional.

Open the Tip JarTap 👤 Profile at the top, then 💰 Tip Jar (optional).
Add your accountType your Account name (as it appears in your app) and at least one number: GCash, Maya, or GoTyme (10 to 16 digits). Tap Save Tip Jar.
SingWhen you are on stage, a 💰 shows next to your name on your listeners' screens. On the listen link, there is a 💰 Tip button. You don't see it on your own screen.
The audience tipsThey tap 💰, see your account, Copy the number, and send it from GCash, Maya, or GoTyme.

Tips go straight to your account. Kantahan Live never touches the money, and there is no notification when someone tips, so check your app. People in the room can see your Tip Jar details while it is saved, so tap Clear when you don't want it anymore. A reminder for tippers: check the account name in your app before you send.

🔴 Record and share your song

For the singer on stage. Only you can hear it unless you share it. The recording cards are in Play Mode.

Tap 🔴It shows next to your name once your mic is live. Everyone sees 🔴 REC while you record. Up to 5 minutes per take.
Turn 🎵 ON if you have musicIt records your mic, echo, and the sound you share with 🎵 Share Music (computers only). If 🎵 is not ON, only your voice is recorded.
Tap again to stopIt is saved in 🔴 My Recordings. Your browser keeps up to 5 takes, and they disappear if you reload or leave the room.
Download or shareTap ⬇ Download to keep it. To let the room hear it, check the permission box and tap 📤 Share to room. It appears in 🎧 Shared Recordings and is deleted automatically after 24 hours. Up to 6 MB.

Recording is not allowed in Work Mode. Only the owner of a recording and the host can delete a shared take.

Presentation: PDF and video

For talks, lessons, and shows that everyone watches together.

Switch to Work ModeThe host taps 📊 Work Mode at the top. Everyone in the room switches, and the upload and share tools appear for the host or anyone with 👑 Admin ON. Audio quality is lower (saves data) and there is no echo.
Upload a PDFThe host or anyone with 👑 Admin ON uploads. Tap 📤 Upload PDF and choose a file. Up to 10 MB without a password, and up to 20 MB if you enter the upload password in 🔑 Password.
Choose whether to keep it in the libraryCheck Keep in library if you want to reuse it later without uploading again. If not, it is deleted automatically within 24 hours.
Show it to everyoneAfter the upload, the PDF opens for everyone in the room at the same time. If you don't want to upload, tap 📚 Library and choose Open on a saved file.
Change pagesUse ‹ and ›, or the arrow keys on your keyboard. Everyone follows the presenter's page. The audience can also flip pages on their own device; tap ↩ p.X to go back to the host's page.

🔴 PointerTap it to show a red dot you can use to point at things. On a computer, it follows your mouse. On a phone, drag the dot.

⛶ Full screenAvailable to everyone, not just the presenter. Tap ✕ or press Esc to exit.

📚 LibraryThe list of saved PDFs. 🗑 deletes a file: the uploader can delete their own file, and anyone with the upload password can delete any file.

🎬 Share (YouTube or .mp4)Paste a YouTube link, or a direct https link to a video ending in .mp4 or .webm, and tap Share. The video appears for everyone, but it does not play yet. Tap ▶ Watch now (everyone) when everyone is ready, so all start together.

⏸ Pause allStop the video for the whole room. Each viewer also has their own 🔊 to mute, and can pause or seek on their own device.

📊 Presenter

The host and anyone with Admin ON control the presentation. To pass control to someone else, tap 📊 next to their name in the list (it appears when a PDF or video is showing). They can then change pages, use the pointer, and run the video. Tap 📊 again to take control back, or it returns to the host automatically when the presentation is closed.

When a PDF or video is showing, ✕ Close is for the host, admins, and the presenter. Only one thing shows in the Presentation card at a time: sharing a video replaces the PDF, and the other way around. It does not switch you back to Play Mode.

It is already open in Play Mode (tap Hide ▲ to collapse it). These are the starting settings, so the sound is already good even if you don't touch anything.

🔊 MuteMute the stage on your device only. It does not affect anyone else.

🎙️ Test (Soundcheck)Try your mic and your sound. Nobody else can hear it.

🎧 Echo (Monitor)In your headphones you hear only the echo, not your full voice. If you have your own mic mixer, this is the cleanest setting.

↺ ResetPut all sliders back to their defaults.

Use headphones when you sing. With speakers, the sound goes back into the mic and causes buzzing or echo.

Chat and cheers

For people watching and listening.

In Live Chat & Cheers, type a message and tap Send. Tap 👏 🎤 🔥 ❤️ 🍻 😲 🎉 to send a reaction. Everyone sees it, and confetti pops up on the screen of everyone in the room.

Permanent private room

For a group of friends who want their own room that never disappears. Only the owner can create one.

Open the Owner panelTap ⚙️ Owner panel in the lobby, enter the owner key, and tap ➕ Create permanent room.
Give out the right linkThe 🔗 Invite link is for all members. The 👑 Host link is only for the host and 2 or 3 trusted co-hosts.
Open a linkMembers don't type any password. With the host link, they are the host right away on any device.

Lost the host link, or it went to the wrong person? Tap ↻ next to the room to make a new one. The old one stops working. In a permanent room, the host link decides who is host, not who comes in first.

If something goes wrong

My mic has no sound

When the browser asks to allow the microphone, tap Allow. If you blocked it before, tap the padlock next to the address bar, allow Microphone, then refresh the page.

"Connecting..." takes a long time

Refresh the page: tap 🎤 Kantahan Live! at the top of the page (it asks first before reloading), or Ctrl+F5 on a computer. If it still doesn't work, check your internet and try again after a few seconds.

I can't get into the room

The code or password may be wrong, or the room may be full (each room has a limit on people). Ask the host for the correct code or invite link.

I can't hear the singer's karaoke music

The singer must have 🎵 ON. If not, they tap 🎵 OFF, choose Entire Screen (or the tab with the video), and check Share system audio or Share tab audio. The 🎵 button is usually available on computers only, and the sound is sent only while they are on stage.

Raise Hand is grayed out

It is grayed out while you are singing. Tap 🔓 Finish first, and you can join the queue again.

I'm not the host of our permanent room

You are the host only if you opened the 👑 Host link, not the regular invite link. Ask the room's owner for it.

I can't change my nickname

It is not allowed while you are in the queue or on stage, and only once every 24 hours. Leave the queue first, change it, and join the queue again. Your photo in 👤 Profile can be changed any time.

No sound on the listen link

You must tap ▶ Tap to listen live first. The browser will not play sound until you tap.

Does it use a lot of mobile data?

You only receive audio, not video, so it usually uses less data than watching YouTube, TikTok, and Reels. Wi-Fi is still better for long sessions. Close the tab or tap 🏃 Leave room when you are done, because muting does not save data. If you are the singer, the karaoke video you watch uses the most data, so tap the gear icon on the player and choose 240p or 360p, as long as the lyrics are still readable.

I can't upload the PDF

If you can't see the upload, switch to 📊 Work Mode first (only the host or someone with Admin ON can upload, and only the host can switch). Make sure the file is a real PDF and not bigger than 10 MB (20 MB with the upload password). Without a password, there is also a limit of 6 uploads per hour. If the library is full (20 PDFs), delete some files first.

The shared video won't play

The video will not start until the presenter taps ▶ Watch now. If ▶ Tap to watch appears on your device, tap it, because browsers sometimes block autoplay. Some videos also can't be embedded by their owners, so try another link.

Why can't I change the page?

Only the host, anyone with Admin ON, and the chosen presenter control the page, pointer, and video. Ask the host to tap 📊 next to your name.

Why can't I see my 💰?

You don't see it on your own screen. It shows on your listeners' screens when your Tip Jar is saved and you are on stage. It needs an account name and at least one 10 to 16 digit number. Try opening the listen link on another device to check.

There is no 🔴 record button

It only appears once your mic is live and the browser supports recording. It is also not allowed in Work Mode. Use a recent version of Chrome or Safari.

Why was I removed from the room, or my stage ended?

To save everyone's data: after 30 minutes with no activity and no audio, a warning appears and you leave after 60 seconds unless you tap Manatili (Stay). If you are on stage and there is no voice or music and no activity for 10 minutes, your stage ends automatically.

Where are Song & Video, the Mixer, or the Presentation?

They are on separate tabs. Song & Video, Lyrics, the Mixer, and Recordings are in 🎤 Play Mode. The Presentation is in 📊 Work Mode. Only the host can switch, so ask them if the room is on the wrong tab.

Which browser works best?

Chrome or Safari on phone and computer. Use the latest version, and avoid the built-in browser of other apps if you have mic problems.
